Hello everyone.
I'm soo soo sorry I've been MIA. I've been on holiday and then since then it's been a whirlwind! I won't bore you to death with the details so...
Here are my latest purchases:
Avon: Golden Wine, Vintage Blue and Green With Envy. American Apparel: Poppy and Summer Peach.
Eyeko: Rain, Vampira, Military, Cosmic, Indigo and Lilac. Nails inc: Cambridge Circus.
A nice varied selection I'm sure you'll admint. Can't wait to wear Golden Wine and Cosmic Polish!
So here's what I'm currently rocking.
That's right it's Space Cadet (at last!) I don't need to babble on about it because you've seen it a gazillion times. All I have to say is that this is 4 coats and I have vnl!
Oh god these pictures are terrible. Not only am I taking pictures on my phone because my camera is still broken, but I have lost my base coat and run out of top coat - so my manis are just the polish on their own! It's a bit troublesome, I'll be honest.
Now I really need some advice from any of you lovely ladies (or guys) that have OPI Rapidry. I recently purchased a "new" bottle off ebay, but it absolutely reeks of nail polish remover. When I used it my polish came off slightly on the tips of the bristles. It dried pretty quickly but actually dulled down the finish and wasn't shiney at all. Is this the same with all Rapidry's or has this person just topped it up with remover?? Please help because I want justice if this is the case!!!!! Thanks guys :)
Love, Tilly.

Love your new polishes; look forward to seeing swatches.
ReplyDeleteI am not an expert on Rapidry, but that sure sounds like it's been topped off with acetone. One of the reasons to not use acetone to thin is that it dulls the polish, so the fact that a non-matte topcoat did this seems very suspect.
I can't wait to see swatches of all those polishes!
ReplyDeleteI've never used Rapidry, but it does sound like it's had acetone added.
Hi, found your blog trying to find reviews on Avon's Wicked. I see you have Eyeko Vampira too, do you think they are similar?
